Album Preview: DJ Premier vs. Pete Rock (2011) Release: TBA (Unknown)
They did their show in Japan, and then they said they decided to actually do an album.
I don’t know much about the project other than the fact that it’s slated to have six tracks
per producer, with each one picking a different artist to grace each of their beats,
and they can’t know each-other’s choices. But, I do know one – GZA, who Premier
revealed will be one of the MCs he picked for his portion.

Another anticipated Duck Down release, another delay. This project is a collaborative
album between Sean Price, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk. Black Milk’s Album of the
Year just reinforced that fact that he’s easily one of the best producers doing it,
making us pine for another album full of his work (not to mention Sean P’s lyrical face
slaps and Guilty’s gully grumbling).

Lee Morgan was only a tender 19 years of age when he led this 1957 Blue Note date,
but his technique surpassed most of the more seasoned trumpeters on the scene.
Technically agile and possessed of a bright, clear tone (he clearly belongs to the
lineage of Dizzy Gillespie), Morgan shines on City Lights, and his sidemen–including
saxophonist George Coleman, trombonist Curtis Fuller, and bassist Paul Chambers.

REST IN PEACE NATE DOGG - We lost a true Hip-Hop Legend.
With his deep, melodic voice and smooth soul rumble, Dogg was one of the key elements in the rise of the West Coast G-Funk sound pioneered by Death Row Records in the early 1990s. Though overshadowed by such peers as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Warren G, Nate was a critical participant in a number of major left-coast gangsta hits, including G's "Regulate" and Dre's iconic solo debut, 1992's The Chronic.

Album Review: "Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde" - The Pharcyde (1992)
The Pharcyde released two albums as a group: Bizarre Ride II in 1992
and Labcabincalifornia in 1995. Both projects were critically acclaimed.
Their debut '92 album considered by many to be one of the best
hip-hop records ever released.
The Pharcyde's debut represents a nice change of pace from a lot of the
other rap groups out there that delve into much more complicated issues,
so it definitely has its place on the hip-hop scene.
Album Review: "Spirit of '94: Version 9.0" - Kaze & 9th Wonder (2005)
Spirit of '94: Version 9.0 is one of the best albums of the 2000s.
9th Wonder's production on this record is pretty close to flawless,
and Kaze's lyrical ability and technical skills are top-notch.
This project is ideal to listen to while you're chilling or cruising.

Of course, anything that 9th Wonder touches generally turns to gold,
but while 9th's production on Spirit of '94: Version 9.0 is arguably
